I already have parallel, serial, pcmcia, scsi and usb 2.0 (the latter only can be used for storage devices at the present) in the specifications for my custom desktop. So do I need PCI or ISA or will the others suffice? I've heard of things that use these slots but I'm not really sure what kinds of devices would need them aside from speech synthesizers.

I don't think you really need them. I have serial, multiple u s b ports, a way to connect to the t.v, and parallel. I don't use them all but one day...who knows.

It looks like I'll need them after all, since they're used for different things. I wonder if I should tell the tech or if, as was said to me by B3n, he'll know to include them?
